Municipal Mental Health Summit
The Mental Health Task Force: Communities That Care is proud to partner with Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador for the first-ever pre-symposium Municipal Mental Health Summit in Gander, NL on Thursday, May 5.
The Municipal Mental Health Summit will include three engaging speakers, as well as a panel discussion on mental health and wellness hosted by the Chair of the Task Force, Portugal Cove-St. Philips Councillor Tina Neary.
Marie-Josée Brown (MJ) is a highly recognized expert in the field of nutrition, supplementation, and symptomatology. MJ’s presentation is titled Physiology Prevails Over Pathology.
Lisa Sheppard is a Children’s Yoga & Mindfulness Instructor. Lisa’s presentation is titled Self-Regulation.
Gary Summers is a professional speaker, magician, hypnotist, hypnotherapist, and author, having written a trilogy called MINDBODYSOUL dealing with the mental, physical and spiritual sides of wellness. Gary’s presentation is titled Change Your Thinking Change Your Life.

Cost: $75 (in addition to the Symposium registration fee)
Registration for the Summit is open to all municipal elected officials and staff. Attendance at the 2022 Municipal Symposium is not mandatory to register for this event.
