Tina has a Master’s from what is now known as Toronto Metropolitan University and brings to the table a background in mental health wellness, education, inclusion, and accessibility for all children, youth, and families. Tina is a strong advocate for mental health and addictions services, and support for children, and families. Belinda Adams moved to Labrador City at the age of 3 and has been there ever since. She has worked 32 years with the Iron Ore Company of Canada in various roles; through those years she experienced multiple layoffs and remained a student where she studied Psychology and Social Work before returning to full-time work in the mine. Craig was elected as the Urban Municipalities Committee Chair in 2018 and 2020 and is currently serving his second term as member of the Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador Board of Directors. Alex is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) with nearly 15 years of experience, specializing in human resources management, labor relations, and team leadership. In 2023, he completed his Master of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University, equipping him with advanced knowledge in areas such as collective bargaining, workplace conflict resolution, and strategic HR planning. Currently, Alex is part of the Human Resources team at Pennecon, a leading provider of heavy civil, industrial, and energy sector services across Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and internationally. Michele Peach was employed in the public sector for 35 years, primarily with local government in various roles, and before that, with the Office of the Auditor General, Newfoundland and Labrador. Michele holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a professional accounting designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Certificate in Local Government Administration from Dalhousie University and a National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration from the University of Alberta. Jonathan has been a practicing lawyer at Stewart McKelvey since completing his articles with the firm in 2006, and he became a Partner in 2013. He has developed a significant municipal law practice, representing municipalities across the province on a broad spectrum of legal issues, including taxation, drafting municipal regulations, development matters of all kinds, and addressing Code of Conduct and conflict of interest cases. Ben Noseworthy is a community-minded leader who is passionate about helping build vibrant, healthy and sustainable communities here in Newfoundland and Labrador. Before joining the team at Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador, Ben spent 10 years as a Town Clerk and Town Manager supporting Council in meeting the diverse local needs of their community including Planning and Development, Capital Works and Operations. Brian Coleman
Housing Capacity Building Officer
Hailing from the beautiful west coast city of Corner Brook, Brian Coleman joins Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador as the Housing Capacity Building Officer for the Western, Northern, and Labrador zones. Graduating from the last class of Regina High School, Brian started his post-secondary education at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College where he completed introductory courses and was a lifeguard. Liking this lifesaving training, and work, Brian then went to Bay St. George Campus of College of the North Atlantic where he completed a certificate in Primary Care Paramedicine. He worked as a paramedic in various western Newfoundland communities, and at industrial sites in Alberta. Learn More

Financial Support Services Program Coordinator
Kim Noseworthy is a community-oriented resident of beautiful Bell Island where she enjoys serving several organizations both as a board member and volunteer. As a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management graduate from Royal Roads University, she has worked in several financial reporting and process improvement roles for large corporations, municipalities and owner operated small businesses. Kim has a passion for working with clients to examine financial processes and helping to make them more user friendly and efficient.
