St. John’s, NL – Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador confirmed today that Dame Moya Greene, head of the Province’s new economic recovery team, will be a keynote speaker at the 2020 virtual conference.

Dame Greene’s interactive session, which will take place on Thursday, November 5, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, will give municipal leaders an opportunity to provide her with their perspectives on the necessary work of reimaging our economy.

“We are so excited to have Dame Greene join us at this important event,” said MNL President, Mayor Sheila Fitzgerald. “It’s been a challenging year for municipalities – and a challenging year for the province. Hearing her insights on recovery and providing a space for municipal leaders to engage in that conversation is essential. There is no recovery without municipalities.”
