Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador Announces Board of Directors Candidates

 St. John’s, NL – Nominations for the Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador board of directors have closed. Grand Falls-Windsor Councillor Amy Coady is acclaimed as president. Torbay Mayor Craig Scott is acclaimed as urban municipalities director. Both are for two-year terms.  

Elections will be held for the following positions at the MNL AGM scheduled for Nov. 4-6 in Corner Brook, NL. Results will be available on Nov. 6.  

Vice President (2-year term) 

  • Councillor Trina Appleby, Torbay 
  • Mayor Brian Keating, Marystown 
  • Deputy Mayor Terry Randell, Pasadena 

Central Director (1-year term) 

  • Mayor Percy Farwell, Gander 
  • Councillor Dennis Flood, Change Islands 

Small Towns Director (2-year term) 

  • Councillor Rod Delaney, Cupids 
  • Mayor Harold Murphy, Parker’s Cove 
  • Councillor Lynn Ellsworth, Roddickton-Bide Arm
