MNL partners with NLCA to provide education opportunities for municipalities.
St. John’s, NL – September 17, 2018 – Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL) is proud to introduce a partnership service with Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association (NLCA) to offer municipalities access to education and training opportunities through the NLCA’s Centre of Excellence.
Both MNL and the NLCA recognize that many individuals working within the municipal sector are unfamiliar with the rapidly changing construction industry and are keen to expand their skill set to better manage municipal capital works projects.
“Through this new partnership, MNL members will have access to the NLCA’s Centre of Excellence global learning with in-class or webinar-based video conferencing, Lunch n’ Learns and special-topic seminars that address legislation, regulations, technologies, best practices and latest trends in the industry. We are very excited to provide our members, with these opportunities for growth and skill advancement that will empower them to move projects forward.”
Mayor Tony Keats, President of Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador.
“We are pleased to partner with MNL to offer municipalities the opportunity for deeper market reach for their advertised tenders, as well as offer access to education and training opportunities through NLCA’s Centre of Excellence. More information can be found on our website at www.nlca.ca”
Rhonda Collings, NLCA Chair
