The 2023 MNL Conference, Trade Show, and AGM in St. John’s has been an inspirational and informative four days of discussions charting the path toward a sustainable future for municipalities.

More than 400 delegates from over 130 municipalities as well as 200 key partners attended 40-plus sessions at the St. John’s Convention Centre. The Trade Show featured more than 70 organizations. We also recognize our sponsors for contributing to the success of this event.

During the Leadership Summit for women and gender-diverse individuals, three council members received awards in recognition of their contributions. St. John’s Deputy Mayor Sheilagh O’Leary was bestowed with the Inspiration Award. Witless Bay Deputy Mayor Lorna and Cow Head Mayor Deanna Hutchings Yard were recognized with the Achievement Award.

Vice President: Mayor Brian Keating, Marystown

Urban Municipalities Director: Mayor Craig Scott, Torbay (acclaimed)

“The 2023 MNL Conference, Trade Show, and AGM was a wonderful success, with many opportunities for sharing experiences and knowledge. It is so great to have face-to-face conversations with colleagues and municipal sector partnership as we work toward building a sustainable future for all communities.”  – Amy Coady, MNL President.
