PEGNL Engagement Session
Engagement Opportunity with the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador
Members of the PEGNL Board of Directors want to engage with those working in and governing municipalities to discuss priorities, opportunities, challenges and policies related to infrastructure, engineering and geoscience in our province.
The Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) — formerly the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland (APEGN) — is an organization whose mandate is regulating these professions in the public interest, as promulgated in the Engineers & Geoscientists Act 2008 of Newfoundland and Labrador. PEGNL has approximately 5,000 members and is accountable to the public through the provincial Department of Digital Government and Service NL.
All municipalities use the services provided by professional engineers and geoscientists, either through such things as infrastructure development (private or public) or using these professionals directly on their staff, or both.
MNL is hosting PEGNL for an engagement with members on September 13 at 12 p.m. (11:30 in parts of Labrador).
This engagement session will happen virtually over Zoom. Pre-registration is required.
