Councillor Ryan Snow, South River

My name is Ryan Snow, and I am campaigning to become the new Small Towns Director with Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador! I have worked in the civil engineering field since 2009 and have had many great accomplishments that can assist me in being a great representative for the small towns in this province.

For the past 15 years I have managed Heavy Civil construction projects. For the last number of years, I have been the Senior Project Manager for many multi-million dollar projects.

I am registered with Engineers BC as a Professional Engineer and also AETTNL as a Professional Technologist. I am also Gold Seal Certified with the Canadian Construction Association as well as registered Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.

In the 2021 Municipal election, I was elected as a town councillor for the Town of South River in which I currently serve and am an active member on the Public Works Committee. I am also the chairperson for the Joint Council Conception Bay North.

I like to spend my spare time outdoors hiking, fishing, and hunting. I have also played music in a small Irish/Nl group for the last 12 years. This past October I was nominated as Folk/Roots Artist of the Year by Music NL for a solo produced album.
