Councillor Tina Neary

Tina is currently serving her first term as councillor for the Town of Portugal Cove-St Philips where she lives with her husband and three children.

Tina has a Master’s from what is now known as Toronto Metropolitan University and brings to the table a background in mental health wellness, education, inclusion, and accessibility for all children, youth, and families.

Presently the Provincial Director of Broken Arrow NL, an organization that provides treatment services to children and youth within a group of specialized therapeutic homes, Tina is a strong advocate for mental health and addictions services, and support for children, and families. She is Chair of the Mental Health Task Force and past president of the Child and Youth Care Education Accreditation Board of Canada.
