
Dr. Kathleen Parewick is a researcher, planner and program designer whose career in Newfoundland and Labrador’s municipal and regional governance sphere spans four decades. Kathleen holds a Master of Urban Planning from McGill University and an Arctic community partnered, adaptation-oriented PhD in Geography from Memorial University. A passionate advocate for small, rural and remote communities, she facilitates a wide range of capacity-building partnerships for MNL including Climate-Ready NL, a sector-wide effort addressed to municipal climate change adaptation.
