The Municipal Financial Support Program is an ongoing initiative that supports towns without audited financial statements in improving their financial bookkeeping and management practices. In addition to providing direct support to municipalities, the program coordinator has also developed a report examining the state of financial management and the barriers municipalities face in meeting financial reporting requirements in Newfoundland and Labrador.
