Individuals representing or acting on behalf of a Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL) member municipality are required to comply with MNL’s policies when interacting with MNL or attending MNL events.

This Code of Conduct is for MNL staff, the Board of Directors, and MNL Committee members; however, all MNL members are encouraged to follow the spirit of the Code of Conduct policy.
Prejudice and discrimination may arise and be reinforced by our use of language, which may not be neutral and value-free. This policy reinforces the need for respectful language.
All members attending MNL events are bound by MNL’s respectful behaviour policy.
