Organization’s such as Newfoundland and Labrador Housing and Homelessness Network and their web of Community Advisory Boards, Affordable 360, Raising the Roof, Habitat for Humanity, Housing Co-ops and their support organizations, consultants, and even Community Development Corporations can be valuable partners in securing housing for residents. In this session, you’ll hear how these organizations and other supports can help in the creation of a wholistic community housing ecosystem that works for municipalities.

• Gain knowledge and contact information about which community organizations may already exist in their municipalities that can help to establish strategic partnerships to creating a wholistic housing community in their municipalities.
• Better understand and appreciate the value of partnerships in order to establish the the best governance models for housing in their communities.
• Understand the roles, responsibilities and opportunities in community building housing partnerships that leverage provincial and federal housing funds and programs.
