Myrna Goosney is the Town Clerk-Manager in Glenburnie-Birchy Head-Shoal Brook, Vice-President of PMA, and a small business owner. Born and raised in beautiful Gros Morne National Park, she had an 11-year stint of living “on the mainland” before feeling the call of the saltwater bringing her back home. Myrna has over 25 years of administrative experience but often feels her background in Early Childhood Education has taught the most relevant skills in navigating her 17 years of municipal politics! Myrna lives in her grandmother’s old biscuit box house with her 2 daughters and a crazy hunting dog. In her down time, Myrna is a volleyball chauffeur but also enjoys hikes, a good movie, genealogy research, and a daily dose of chocolate.
