Municipal Capital Works

Help build or renew essential municipal infrastructure. The current application round is for fiscal 2027/28.

Funder

Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, Transportation and Infrastructure

Amount and terms

Cost-shared. Water, wastewater and mitigation: provincial share 70% to 90% by population. Recreation, buildings and fire halls: 60%. Roads and other requests: 50%.

Eligible applicants

NL municipalities, Local Service Districts and Inuit Community Governments.

Eligible projects

New or renewed public water, wastewater, roads, recreation, buildings and eligible disaster-mitigation infrastructure.
