One-time retrofit studies for affordable housing

Prepare the technical, financial and design work for a major affordable housing retrofit.

Funder

Federation of Canadian Municipalities, Green Municipal Fund

Amount and terms

Up to $200,000 for one building or $350,000 for a portfolio; up to 80%, or 100% for qualifying Indigenous applicants.

Eligible applicants

Municipal governments, municipal housing corporations, non-profit affordable housing providers, non-profit housing co-operatives and qualifying Indigenous applicants.

Eligible projects

Pre-construction studies for deep retrofits targeting at least 50% annual GHG reductions or 40% annual energy reductions.
