Therefore be it resolved that Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador lobby the Department of Finance to amend Section 2(h) of the Utilities and Cable Television Companies Act to include Internet/ Data under the definition of the words Utility so that municipalities of this province are able to tax this utility and gain much needed tax revenue.
