Therefore Be It Resolved that Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador lobby the Provincial Government to amend the Election Act to state that anyone running for municipal office must provide the respective municipality with a letter of conduct (Code of Conduct) showing they are a law-abiding citizen before being permitted to run for municipal office.
