Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage, Local Festivals

Support a community partner delivering a locally rooted arts or heritage festival.

Canadian Heritage

Amount and terms

Up to $200,000 and up to 100% of eligible expenses; competitive funding.

Eligible applicants

Local non-profit groups and eligible local Indigenous governments or organizations. Municipalities are not listed as direct applicants.

Eligible projects

Recurring publicly accessible festivals featuring local artists, artisans, heritage or Indigenous cultural carriers.

Canada, including Newfoundland and Labrador
