Cynthia serves as the Deputy Mayor with the Town of Stephenville Crossing and is entering her thirty third year on Council. She has been a member of the Western Regional Service Board as Vice Chair for the past four years, and has represented the Stewardship Association of Municipalities as a Director for the last twelve years.
She is a retired teacher who still substitutes in local schools. She has also previously served on the Board of Directors of MNL. For more than thirty years, she has volunteered with Revenue Canada. She takes joy in being an active member of her community, working closely with residents and organizations to build on shared strengths and help communities across the Western Region and the province of Newfoundland and Labrador continue to grow.
