The Municipal Financial Support Program was a limited-term program, ending in 2025, that helped towns without audited financial statements to improve their financial bookkeeping and management practices. In addition, the program coordinator also developed a report on the state of financial management and the barriers to meeting financial reporting requirements in Newfoundland and Labrador towns.
