Therefore Be It Resolved that Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador lobby the Department of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs to develop a definition and procedure which would be uniformly applied by municipalities and judges on all cases for wreck removal. Be It Further Resolved that Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador also lobby the Department of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs to amend the Municipalities Act to reflect the definition and procedure to be followed by municipalities.
