Therefore Be It Resolved that Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador lobby the Provincial Government to amend Section 67(9) of Part VIII Finances of the Municipal Elections Act to expand the definition of Òa contributionÓ to include items that are tangible and quantifiable such as printing, signage, office space and advertising. Further, that such items be required to be declared and listed on a candidateÕs donation list and be incorporated within the spending cap for the campaign.
