"THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL) appeal to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador for the creation of new avenues of support to assist municipalities in managing Code of Conduct matters, such as access to impartial guidance, external expertise, and consistent processes that promote fairness, accountability, and conflict resolution; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT MNL continue to work with members and partners to strengthen education, training, and resources that help councils build respectful, inclusive, and effective governance environments. "
