Ashley is a communications professional with over 6 years of experience in various roles relating to writing, communications, community engagement, advocacy and event planning. She is currently serving her third year as a Member and Communications Coordinator for Professional Municipal Administrators (PMA). Ashley has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, a diploma in Journalism, and is a part-time graduate student at Memorial University, completing her masters in Political Science. Her volunteer work is deeply important to her as well; she currently serves on the Board of Directors for NL Queer Research Initiative as their Communications and Outreach Director, and holds various other volunteer roles with organizations such as Planned Parenthood NL and the Gathering Place. As a self-identified hobby-enthusiast, Ashley enjoys various activities such as weightlifting, cooking/baking, reading and photography.
