Brittney Garcia serves as Regional Adaptation Coordinator. She works with municipalities across Newfoundland and Labrador to advance climate change adaptation initiatives. Her work has focused extensively on coastal, marine, and rural community engagement, supporting efforts to address shoreline erosion, sea level rise, extreme weather, and climate impacts on marine-dependent livelihoods. Through roles in climate risk assessment, community engagement, and adaptation planning, Brittney collaborates closely with municipal leaders, fishery and marine stakeholders, and local residents to translate climate science into practical, community-driven solutions that strengthen long-term resilience.
