Krista Butler, Choices for Youth Director of Integrated Youth Services, will explore the development of Becket, Newfoundland and Labrador’s Integrated Youth Services (IYS) network, and what integrated youth services can/does look like in communities across the province. Participants will learn how local organizations, health care providers, government, and youth are working together to create youth-friendly, low-barrier access to mental health, primary care, housing, employment, and other community services. The session will highlight the Becket model, share lessons learned through implementation, and discuss opportunities for communities interested in developing IYS.
