Adaptation in Action, implementation projects

Implement on-the-ground climate resilience projects where the risks and proposed solutions are already understood.

Funder

Federation of Canadian Municipalities, Green Municipal Fund

Amount and terms

Base grant 60%; maximum eligible project cost $1 million. Qualifying incentives may raise support to 100%.

Eligible applicants

Canadian municipalities and eligible municipal partners; Indigenous applicants must meet the program's municipal partnership, status or service-agreement rules. For-profit partners are excluded.

Eligible projects

Standalone adaptation projects that deliver immediate climate risk reduction.
