Wendolyn Schlamp is a knowledgeable and dedicated professional with a strong commitment to inclusive engagement and community development. She brings extensive experience advancing gender equity through leadership and frontline roles in community organizations, most notably as Executive Director of YWCA St. John’s, as well as through her work developing the Marguerite’s Place housing initiative with the St. John’s Status of Women’s Council. Her career has also included work supporting newcomers to Canada through refugee settlement and ESL instruction. Informed by a Bachelor of Religious Studies that grounds her thoughtful, people-centered approach, Wendolyn is deeply committed to strengthening communities and fostering meaningful connections. She brings proven expertise, collaboration, and integrity to her work with municipalities across the province.
