Therefore, be it resolved that Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador will lobby the Department of Justice and Public Safety to consider the financial realities faced by municipalities, and subsequently, to increase the stipend provided to municipalities for their services in responding to highway motor vehicle accidents.
