Therefore Be It Resolved that Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador lobby the Department of Municipal Affairs to change the Municipal Long Service Awards so that in the future they be recognized by terms of elections; elected for 3 terms _ 12 years; elected for 4 terms _ 16 years; elected for 5 terms _ 20 years; elected for 6 terms _ 24 years; elected fro 7 terms _ 28 years; elected for 8 terms _ 32 years.
