Municipalities in Newfoundland and Labrador must have an Accessibility Plan. This session will explore how municipalities can move beyond requirement to turn accessibility into everyday actions that benefit the entire community.
Drawing on the City of St. John’s experience developing its first accessibility plan and preparing its next version, the session will discuss resources to assist municipalities, actionable deliverables, easy wins, challenges, and who should be involved.
