Developing Economic Development Training and Resources for Municipalities

The Economic Developers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (EDANL) is developing new training and resources aimed at supporting those involved in economic development within the province. This initiative is being pursued in partnership with Municipalities NL, and NL Association of CBDCs, and the Community Sector Council of NL. This presentation will highlight the work that has occurred to date and preview the new tools and programs that will be available to municipalities in the Fall of 2026 – giving session participants an opportunity to react and influence the direction the work takes.

Members will bring valuable information back to their councils regarding upcoming programming that will help them support the economic development of their communities and regions.
Members will obtain insight into upcoming programming that will provide them with the tangible skills to advance economic development in their region.
Members will have the opportunity to collaborate with others in their region to influence the economic development training and resources that will be developed for them in the near future.
