This report provides updates on resolutions adopted by MNL members in 2016 and outlines the advocacy actions undertaken with provincial government departments. Topics include local service district funding, municipal authority over snowmobiles and ATVs, infrastructure funding outside limits of service, regional governance, municipal legislation, and community development. The report demonstrates MNL’s efforts to advance policy changes and improve fairness, accountability, and service delivery across Newfoundland and Labrador municipalities.
