The Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment has released a circular to municipalities to help address their COVID-19 concerns. Please check your inboxes. The department is recommending that public council meetings be temporarily POSTPONED to comply with social distancing practices.

Municipal Affairs and Environment also recommend that if meetings cannot be postponed for critical operating decisions, municipalities have the option to stream as an alternative. Teleconferencing services allow residents to call in and to listen to the proceedings while maintaining social distancing.
