Ian Brenton
Candidate for MNL Vice President
I grew up in St. Anthony, Newfoundland. After graduation I went off to college in St. John’s. Like many Newfoundlanders, I ended up in Alberta for a number of years. I returned to Newfoundland in 2014.
As a single father of a child with a severe medical condition, I truly understand the meaning of “Challenge” and “Dedication”. Since 2018 I have been serving on my Town Council in Main Brook, first as a councillor, and then as Mayor. I have just started my third term on Council, my second as Mayor and look forward to serving my residents and region for the next four years.
Campaign Message
I want to continue working for the good of all residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. For the last two terms on council I have endeavored to attract sustainable economic growth for my region. A platform such as MNL will allow me to get that message out to a much larger audience.
